How are recommendations chosen?
With transparent rules, not AI. Titles score points for genres and themes they share with the series you pick, for the same studio, and when MyAnimeList users recommend them to fans of that series. Score and popularity break ties. Every result says why it was picked.
Can I hide shows I’ve already seen?
Yes. Everything on your AnimeSparks watchlist is excluded automatically when that option is on, and you can hide any result with one tap.
What do the moods mean?
Each mood is a set of MyAnimeList genres and themes, for example “Cozy” covers slice of life and iyashikei. A show matches if it has any of them.
