The Tree of Qliphoth is the mechanism behind the Spade Kingdom arc's potential apocalypse. The ritual uses Yami Sukehiro's Dark Magic and William Vangeance's World Tree Magic to create a channel to the underworld. As its gates open, devils from progressively deeper levels can enter the human world.
