      How to play

      The first clue is broad: the format and when the anime premiered. Guess a title from the search box. A wrong guess, or a skip, reveals the next clue: genres and themes, then the studio, episode count and source, and finally the main characters. Get it within 6 tries to keep your streak alive.

      Everyone gets the same anime on the same UTC day, so you can compare results with friends. Share your result to post a grid of squares that shows how many guesses you needed without revealing the answer.

      How do the clues work?

      You get 6 guesses. Each wrong guess or skip reveals a more specific clue: premiere date, genres and themes, studio, episode count and source, then main characters.

      Where do the puzzles come from?

      Each day’s anime is picked in advance from the most popular titles on MyAnimeList, and its clues are written from stored data such as studios, genres and characters. Puzzles are fixed once scheduled, so everyone plays the same one, and nothing is generated by AI.

      Are my stats saved?

      Your streak, win rate and guess distribution are saved in this browser. Shared results show coloured squares only, never the answer.
