Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity has topped Anime Corner's Fall 2026 Week 4 anime poll with 25.31% of the reported vote, more than four times the 5.90% earned by second-place Firefly Wedding. The October 30 results also put Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! third and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 fourth. It is a striking snapshot of a season packed with major sequels, but it is a community poll, not an industry-wide verdict on the year's best anime.
The poll covered October 23 through October 30, drew 5,254 participants and ranked 75 titles. Its biggest story is not simply that Bleach won. It is how far ahead it finished, even as the remaining top ten included romance, comedy, science fiction and several familiar action franchises.
The Fall 2026 Week 4 top ten
According to the published Week 4 ranking, the top five were Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity (25.31%), Firefly Wedding (5.90%), Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! (5.82%), Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 (5.29%) and The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 (3.62%).
Black Clover Season 2 followed in sixth with 3.39%, Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in seventh with 3.16%, Blue Box Season 2 in eighth with 2.32%, Ranma 1/2 Season 3 in ninth with 2.30%, and The Ramparts of Ice Season 2 in tenth with 2.04%. Those percentages are the organizer's published figures, not estimates of total streaming viewers.
The gap between first and second was 19.41 percentage points. The gap between second and fourth was only 0.61 points. That contrast is what makes this week's results interesting: one enormous leader sits above a genuinely competitive cluster of very different shows.
Why Bleach's lead grew after the finale
Bleach was already first in Week 3, with 20.15%. It gained 5.16 percentage points in Week 4, when the final episode of The Calamity arrived on October 26. Crunchyroll's October 16 finale schedule report confirmed that Episodes 49 and 50 were scheduled for October 19 and October 26 respectively, following an earlier postponement.
The timing makes finale attention a plausible contributor to the result, but it does not prove why individual voters chose Bleach. Some may have responded to the ending itself, others to the conclusion of a long-running adaptation, and others may simply have been catching up. The poll does not ask voters to explain their selections.
There is also a meaningful distinction between a series finale and a season premiere. A finale gives fans a clear shared event to discuss. AnimeSparks' Bleach finale release guide tracks the two delayed episodes and the confirmed schedule, while this ranking measures a different question: which shows this particular community chose during the week.
For Bleach, a quarter of the reported vote is an emphatic result. It is not evidence that a quarter of all anime fans watched the series, nor that critics have reached a unanimous judgment on its ending.
Firefly Wedding is holding its own against the giants
The surprise just below Bleach is Firefly Wedding. The romantic suspense adaptation remained second for a second consecutive week despite slipping from 9.23% in Week 3 to 5.90% in Week 4. Holding that position ahead of a slate featuring JoJo, Black Clover and The Apothecary Diaries is a notable result for a story that is not built around conventional shonen battles.
Its premise gives viewers something quite different: Satoko's desperate marriage proposal to the assassin Shinpei creates a romance entangled with danger, manipulation and survival. Readers unfamiliar with the show can start with AnimeSparks' Firefly Wedding streaming and premise guide, which covers the October 9 premiere and its central relationship without manga-ending spoilers.
The poll does not establish that Firefly Wedding is objectively the second-best production this season. What it does show is sustained support within the voting audience across two separate weeks, rather than a one-off appearance in the top three.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 makes the sharpest top-ten move
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is another standout. In the Week 3 ranking it sat in 67th place at 0.13%; Week 4 puts it fourth at 5.29%. That is a jump of 63 ranking positions and 5.16 percentage points between the two published snapshots. The Week 4 poll interface marks it as a new top-ranked entry, but the earlier full results do contain the title, so calling it a first-ever appearance would be misleading.
The sequel premiered on Netflix on October 20, shortly before the latest voting window. That release timing makes its improved position understandable, but there is no evidence in the poll that every new vote came from someone who had just finished the series. Our Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 release guide covers its standalone Night City story and confirmed launch details.
This rise is especially interesting alongside Bleach's lead. One series was gathering attention for a long-awaited ending; the other was entering its first full post-release polling week. They benefited from very different moments in their release cycles.
The Apothecary Diaries, Black Clover and JoJo remain in the conversation
The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 fell from third at 8.82% in Week 3 to fifth at 3.62% in Week 4. Steel Ball Run moved from fourth to seventh, while Black Clover climbed from seventh to sixth with nearly unchanged reported support: 3.40% to 3.39%. Those movements show why rank alone can exaggerate the size of a shift when neighboring titles are tightly grouped.
The Apothecary Diaries is also serving a different audience from Bleach, combining court intrigue, medicine and character-driven mystery. AnimeSparks' Season 3 schedule and release guide provides the confirmed October broadcast and April 2027 continuation context. The weekly poll cannot tell us whether viewers who prefer that kind of story also voted for Bleach or another series.
Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! climbed from fifth to third, and Blue Box Season 2 moved from tenth to eighth. Romance and comedy have not vanished from the conversation merely because the largest individual vote share belongs to an action finale.
What this ranking can and cannot tell us
The poll's own demographic snapshot reports that 33% of participants were in the United States, followed by 15.3% in the Philippines, 7.8% in Singapore, 7.2% in India and 6.1% in Indonesia. That gives the results meaningful international English-speaking relevance, but the audience is self-selected and is not a representative sample of anime viewers in any of those countries.
Participation also changed: Week 3 recorded 7,067 respondents, compared with 5,254 in Week 4. That is why a percentage-point increase should not be confused with an increase in raw votes without examining the underlying counts and voting method. The published percentages are most useful as a measure of relative support within each week's poll.
These rankings should not be used as streaming charts, television ratings, awards results or proof of universal fan consensus. A high position can reflect a passionate community, a well-timed episode, a promotional moment or several of those factors together. The data does not isolate which explanation applies to a given title.
The real takeaway from Week 4
Bleach's finale gave Fall 2026 a runaway poll leader, but the battle for second through seventh is much less predictable. Firefly Wedding is holding onto a surprising runner-up spot, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has surged into the top four, and The Apothecary Diaries, Black Clover and JoJo remain visible despite shifting positions.
The next weekly result will show whether the Bleach surge survives beyond its finale week and whether Cyberpunk can maintain its momentum. For now, the defensible headline is specific: among 5,254 Anime Corner voters surveyed October 23-30, Bleach led with 25.31%, while several very different anime competed closely behind it.
